Forgotten Lies Retold

Forgotten lies are often told again, forbidden fruit re-stolen
the sunshine belies the darkness in my heart and soul
where I find solace in the shadows, how little
moonlight I have basked in and even
less the star light, I never get
enough of the night sky
and the deepest
silence known
to mankind
I long for
surely
it’s
the desert
where I can find
these things, the missing
puzzle pieces of my anima
I see her foot prints in the sand
and wonder where she has wandered
off to an oasis I can only hope where pure
water can quench an angels thirst and still my
inquietude, I want to meet my master there don’t you…
